So the kids were counting down the days until Christmas so they could eat their houses. So right after dinner they dug in, dust and all.

Santa Came!

Santa is very good at displays. I think I'll hire him to arrange my whole house.

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve we gather at my sister's house to celebrate together before coming home for Christmas. We really enjoy the time we can be together and watch how happy everyone is.

Competition

The bookmark was a main reason why the boys wanted to do the competition. It's not like they could make their own or anything;)

Charlotte won and got an ornament for her Christmas Tree made out of gingerbread.

Making Houses

The kids designed their own houses, or tree in Charlotte's case, and cut out a pattern for them so we could cut out the gingerbread dough to their specifications.

They learned a lot about the necessity of measuring all the pattern pieces correctly, some learned it the hard way.

Making Gingerbread

We made gingerbread for a house competition our homeschooling group was having and I had to make regular cookies for the little ones who weren't making houses.

They loved decorating and kept trying to eat the sickeningly sweet royal icing. Gross!

It was our family's turn to do the activity. This was Levi's first pack meeting.

Levi was so excited to go to scouts that he wanted to go at the first opportunity which was on his birthday.

Levi's decided he wants to get more awards than Jerry III. Looks like he has a lot of work to do:)

Sea World...again part 2

We sat in the soak zone at the mermaid show while Jerry jr. and the older kids went on rides. The girls loved the pretty characters, but were shocked when they were repeated doused.
