At a family meeting we decided that learning to fish was something that we wanted to do this year so we finally got out for our first attempt. As expected the little girls became bored and their favorite part seemed to be eating and drinking in their camp chairs. The boys lasted longer especially with the incentive of earning a fishing belt loop.I think we had a good first day even though we didn't get any bites. We all have to learn how to bait for the fish in the lake and be patient. The kids just didn't expect patience to take so long.
